Interest register entries for payments made by the canal trustees to the $1.6 million canal construction loan (authorized by the General Assembly in 1843) subscribers. Register include payment voucher number; bond serial number; interest amount due; total interest payment; and undated subscriber's legal representative signature acknowledging payment.
